Actually, I’m lying about the title of this post. I haven’t actually had any gorilla fun with my plain pink Gorillapod as of YET, but will  be doing so in about two days at my Mom’s 60th birthday party.

So I heard…

But… to start the article, I first heard about the Gorillapod via Photojojo’s article entitled “The Gorillapod and The Bottle Cap Tripod Review: Two Go-Anywhere Tripods.”  I was instantly interested, but $25 for an tripod was too much.. Eventually, I got tired of asking people, especially waiters at restaurants, to take photos of me and my friends — so I decided to invest.

Price comparison

Photojojo’s store sells the Gorillapod in one color for $24 + $6 shipping.

On the actual Joby website, the maker of the Gorillapod, it sells for $21.95 + unknown shipping.

On Amazon, I purchased it for $21.95 + free shipping [Prime customer]

I don’t doubt its ability to work well, but we’ll see this weekend and then I should be able to review it.
