I made my first purchase on E.L.F. on October 15, 2008. I didn’t get my package until October 29, 2008. For those of you too lazy to count, that is 14 DAYS!!! They ship via FedEx Smartpost (which is not the same as FedEx and tracking #s must be tracked on different website) and it takes forever.
Luckily, I was super satisfied with the professional brushes I received. This was my order:
Concealer Brush Qty: 2 $1.00
Defining Eye Brush Qty: 2 $1.00
Eye Shadow Brush Qty: 3 $1.00
Foundation Brush Qty: 1 $1.00Sub Total: $8.00
Shipping: $6.95
Tax: $0.00Total: $10.95
I got a discount of $4 because of a code I found on retailmenot.com. It covered most of the shipping and ended up still being cheap. So per brush, I paid about $1.37. That is really good deal, especially considering the quality of the brushes. I used them today and the bristles felt soft and thick. I’m very excited.
Here is the shipping process for my package. They are in New Jersey and I am in Nevada. Nine days doesn’t seem long, but when you add 5 days of processing, it can feel like forever.
Overall: I like that the prices of the brushes were about $1 each, but I hate how shipping took forever. But, I would definitely buy again, but this time — only way in advance!

I got this email for AT&T today. I guess they haven’t forgotten that I have iPhone… considering my bill is $100+ a month… They better have not forgotten about me.
Now… can we please have a tethering app? PLEASE?!?!

For the iPhone to stay running at its optimal battery performance, you have to let the battery die out completely once in a while. I try to do this every other day because I love my iPhone. At 10-20%, it takes forever for the thing to die! Here are some things I do in order to make the battery die faster:
I could play Cro-Mag rally, but I just want it to die while I am doing something else, like homework and internet surfing. I hope this helps =)
I have purchased a lot of stuff from Ulta’s brick and mortar store, but never from the internet, just because I think it is ridiculous that I have to pay shipping when a store is just down the street.
But, last week, they were offering free shipping over $25, in addition to the sales! So, I spent about $30 w/ tax added on.
Here’s what I got.
The Bare Minerals was a free gift with *any* purchase. I don’t use mineral makeup so the freebie for me was the cute little brush =)
I have been using baby oil as a cheap eye makup remover since my Almay one ran out. I forgot how much this L’oreal one was, but at Walgreens, they retail at $6.99+tax. It has been working well so far. The whole at the top is HUGE, so I always end up soaking the cotton ball.
By purchasing one L’oreal foundation, you would get a L’oreal powder, blush, or concealer free. I chose the free powder =) This was my first time buying powder from L’oreal — my trusty powder is by Covergirl.
Lastly, I got two L’oreal Voluminous mascaras. These were a fave a long time ago, but I recently went back since Revlon’s Fabulash wasn’t doing it for me. They were only $5 each!!! Definitely a steal since they retail at Walmat for $6.98+tax.
Shipping wasn’t too slow or too fast. It was packaged well with lots of bubble wrap. I was satisfied with my purchase. The worst part was paying tax. The best part were the prices and special offers.
