Waiting for the (art) cows to come home…

Artscow.com is a fairly new photo website, that is much like Shutterfly. I found it looking through Deal News’ photo deals. Not only is this site waaaay cheap, they also have a lot of great promotions going on from time to time.

Just this month, they had this deal:

Art's Cow Promo : 2008MIX3

I worked my ass off and created 30 (yes, I said 30) digital scrapbooking layouts out of the photos I took while my family was in Boracay. It turned out awesome digitally, but I can’t wait to see it in print.

I was hoping to take advantage of this deal more than one time, but even I couldn’t make that many layouts! Each layout was taking me around 20-30 minutes each… times that by 30… and you get between 10-15 hours of straight work per book. *sigh* I hope it’ll be worth it!

I should be getting my book within the next two weeks so I’ll be sure to post photos and write a review.

In the meantime, get your own custom 12-month calendar for $5. I am planning to get this as soon as I have some free time from school to get the deal… but 5,000 calendars have probably been ordered already… Eeek!

Happy first day of school.

Me getting reading for school. This was when I was still living in the Philippines.

Today, a Tuesday, will be my first day of school — Fall 2008 semester, anyway. I’m kind of excited, kind of not. There’s a million other things on my mind besides it, like money, that i’m worried about.

But, first. Here is my schedule.

  • Biology 189 [3 credits]
  • Biology 189L [1 credit]
  • Medical Terminology 117B [1 credit]
  • Computer Keyboarding 101B [3 credits]
  • Pharmaceutical Math 105B [3 credits]
  • Philosophy 124 [3 credits]
  • Psychology 101 [1 credit] retaking for better grade

In total, I am taking 17 credits this semester. Last semester. I achieved a 3.0 with 15 credits.

This past summer, I received a 4.0 with 6 credits. No, I’m not bragging! I’m 21 and still in a freshman… kind of embarassing… But on a positive note, at least I’m in college and in college for a reason. Not just in college so I can say, “Yeah, I go to college.” There’s actually people like that. Weird, huh?

Well, wish me luck today. *crosses fingers*

[Oh shiz. I just looked at my schedule and I have no clue where any of these buildings are! What the...G? H? K? We had a K building? Since when..?]
